Plas Tan y Graig is a spacious, detached,
country guest house offering excellent 4 * accommodation in the heart
of the Snowdonia National Park. We’re situated in the centre of the
award-winning village of Beddgelert, with views over the Aberglaslyn
Gorge and Moel Hebog, and only a few miles from Snowdon.
The house, built in the 1850’s, was a family home until the 1920’s and has been a guest house since then. Since moving to the village in 2006, we have renewed and refurbished all of the rooms, whilst maintaining aspects of the Victorian character. Our 7 bedrooms are relaxing and peaceful, with co-ordinated soft furnishings.
We have a comfortable lounge for guests, with views over the valley and surrounding mountains, and a large patio where you can enjoy breakfast (weather permitting), or a drink at the end of a rewarding day in the hills or exploring the diverse local heritage. Our aim is to provide an informal and relaxed “home from home”.
We’re an ideal base for a wide range of activities in North Wales, which include walking, touring, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding and canoeing. A number of heritage narrow-gauge railways are within easy reach, including the re-opened Welsh Highland Railway passing through the village.
There are numerous local walks in the hills and valleys, and all the routes onto Snowdon are within easy reach. We have substantial local knowledge and information, and are pleased to provide guidance to help you enjoy either the local area or the National Park.
We're open from mid-February to the end of October, but closed for occasional personal holidays. A minimum 2-night stay is required, three nights over bank holidays.
Due to issues in the past, we’re sorry but we no longer accept bookings from guests attending weddings in the local area.
During the winter, we’re happy to open for group bookings of four rooms or more for a minimum of two nights. Inclusive rates available for evening meals.
